Romney backs Massachusetts' latest gay marriage ban

Romney backs Massachusetts' latest gay marriage ban Ok, so it’s been a year since Massachusetts made gay marriage legal, and even though numerous attempts have been made to stop it or overturn it, gay and lesbian couples have just kept right on tying the knot. Governor Mitt Romney still isn’t happy about it. In fact he supports yet another newly proposed constitutional amendment that would overturn that right and make it illegal for gay and lesbian couples to marry. “My view is that marriage should be defined as a relationship between a man and a woman. hope that this amendment will ultimately be the one which the citizens have an opportunity to vote on.”�
