Dwan Prince in coma following gay bashing in Brooklyn Dwan Prince, 32, is in a coma at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn after being savagely beaten and kicked by three men screaming homophobic slurs, police said. Witnesses rushed to help Prince as he lay bleeding outside his building, but they couldn’t stop one of the attackers from rushing back and kicking Prince again in the head. “He circled back and kicked the guy in the face,” said horrified neighbor Omar Bascombe, 28. “Then, blood started flowing from his mouth, and he wasn’t breathing.” The violence is being investigated as a hate crime.ï¿½
