Every year, the most prestigious photographers in the world come to the StadeFrançais rugby club to shoot the players.

For the 2008 issue of the Dieux du Stade calendar, famous and provocative American photographer Steven Klein was chosen.

* Real rugby players
The guys in the pictures are real. They are no professional models, but real professional rugby players with great physique. Their bodies reflect the grueling practice of this demanding sport.

* The Dieux du Stade DVDs
In 2004, the release of the first making of DVD took the world by storm. TV channels in several countries play clips of the guys posing for the calendar. Now, every year, a making of the Dieux du Stade DVD is released.

Appearing this year are players Geoffroy Messina, Christophe Dominici, Gildas Moro, Jean Monribot, Marcelo Bosch, Matteo Pratichetti, Mirco Bergamasco, Clément Poitrenaud, Juan Martin Berberian, Sergio Parisse, Thomas Combezou, Dimitri Szarzewski and Mathieu Nicolas.

Men are very repressed, ( not so bad these days) from each other, truth is as many academics and surveys have shown, people are more than likely on a mass, bisexual, and some people on one end, gay or staight, it seems to me, that Stade allows men to view other men, in a sexual and also pal ‘like way’, and this may release the inner actraction which ‘more than likely is there’, unexpressed, and it is sexy to see other guys, being erotic to each other,which is a form of love and connection. It makes a change from, war and seeing men killing each other.

We must fight to not be forced to be muscle machines for the world to manipulate, we are feeling, sensual beings like any other
