Abssssolutely Beckham, indeed!

Golden Balls David beckham has done it again! The sexy soccer stud flexes his killer abs and bulges out in a new black-and-white ad campaign for Emporio Armani Underwear, unveiled today on a giant billboard at Macy’s in San Francisco.

The new David Beckham Emporio Armani pics were shot on Malibu Beach in California by the same photography team, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, that shot his last campaign. They’ll debut in the August edition of Vanity Fair magazine, and also on www.emporioarmani.com on Monday, June 23.

Doesn’t leave much to the imagination.

Becks in Hawaii

David Beckham has declared his undying love for wife Victoria with a new tattoo.

The soccer star had the words ‘Forever by your side’ etched on his left forearm in italic lettering as a permanent and romantic pledge to his wife of eight years, and the mother of his three children.

David, 32, unveiled his new body art at a training session with his soccer team Los Angeles Galaxy in Hawaii this week.

A source said: “David wanted to do something special for the woman he loves and Victoria could not be happier with his unique declaration of love.”

This is the latest tattoo inspired by Victoria that David has added to his vast collection.

Last month, he paid £2,500 for a naked image of Victoria, 33, based on his favourite photo of the Spice Girls star.

The seven-inch artwork on his left arm features the singer lying on her back surrounded by stars and baring her breasts with her knees raised up seductively.

David and Victoria also have matching tattoos of the Roman numerals VIII.V.MMVI, which represent the date they renewed their wedding vows on March 8, 2006.

David’s collection also includes the names of the couple’s three children, Brooklyn, eight, Romeo, five and Cruz, three.

David Beckham Naked with a Motorola

Gorgeous gay favourite David Beckham is splashed all over the press this weekend, posing “naked” with a Motorola phone. This latest ad is part of a “Become Beckham” campaign that somehow is supposed to make you think you’ll be the soccer star by purchasing a series of stylish products.

Becks became the global face for Motorola last year and exclusively carried a RAZR throughout the World Cup

This week, spanish magazine Cuore will publish some revealing pictures of David Beckham sunbathing in a little white Speedo style swimsuit, in France.

The British pres are reporting that the Yanks are taking the mickey out of Becks and Posh as they begin their new celebrity lives in Hollywood. Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa did a bit of ripping of their own, mimicking Becks and gormless (no!) and Posh as poutey.

David Beckham farewells Real Madrid

These photos of David Beckham enjoying his final game with Real Madrid are so moving. The flag, the boys, their new BFFs, it almost brings tears to my eyes. Then I remember this happy ending over there only means we are that much closer to having those Beckham boys all to ourselves. It was a touching moment for David who played his last European game, which helped Real Madrid beat Mallorca 3-1 and secure them their 30th Spanish league title. I was actually pretty surprised to see Tom and Katie there but then I remembered how much Tom and Katie love a good soccer game (even if Katie looks a bit bored or confused in this picture). It’s nice to see their new Hollywood friends show their support as well.

It has a certain ring to it Sir David Beckham.

It’s the corollary — Lady Victoria Beckham — that gives pause.

The former “Posh Spice” is one of several reasons Britons are ambivalent about rumored plans to give the Manchester-turned-Madrid-turned-Los Angeles soccer star a knighthood.

Likewise, there’s bemusement over informal talk of putting Beckham on the 20-pound note, a spot historically reserved for people such as the British monarch or economist Adam Smith. If Beckham is such a British hero, some here want to know, why is he moving to Los Angeles?

The controversy arose almost immediately after British papers got wind that Prime Minister Tony Blair was said to be thinking of recommending a knighthood for the 32-year-old soccer player, who has signed a five-year contract to play with the Los Angeles Galaxy, beginning next month.

The honor is intended for those deemed to have rendered exceptional service to the United Kingdom. Sean Connery is a “sir.” So is Paul McCartney, along with half a dozen past soccer greats, former Formula One race car drivers Jackie Stewart and Stirling Moss and enough cricket players to fill Piccadilly Circus.

Why not Beckham, many have argued, an English soccer legend in his own right and a key political player in London’s successful bid for the 2012 Olympics?

Lots of reasons, apparently.

First, there were leaks to the Evening Standard that unidentified “civil servants” had created a backlash against the rumored proposal to include Beckham in Blair’s imminent list of nominations to precede his departure from office June 27.

The reluctant bureaucrats were said by the newspaper to be concerned that Beckham was about to become a “tax exile” in the United States. Cabinet spokesmen denied there was any such civil service rebellion.

Beckham “is an excellent sportsman who has been a good role model for young people,” Jim Devine, a member of Parliament from Livingston, Scotland, said in an interview. “But knighthoods are for people who have lived extraordinary lives, at least that’s how it should be, and made major contributions in a broader sense than just having talent to play football.”

Actor Michael Caine, himself a sir — a title he uses with his real name, Maurice Micklewhite — opined that Beckham seemed “a bit young to be a sir,” and noted that he didn’t receive the honor until he was more than twice Beckham’s age, 66.

Some ordinary Brits have been even less polite. “To honor a tattooed twerp whose only skill is kicking a ball around, and who makes millions in the process, would be an insult to ordinary people who give their all for the benefit of humanity … without reward,” Devon resident Colin Richey said in a letter to the Daily Mirror a few days ago.

“Some patriot,” Londoner Margaret King wrote in another letter. “He can’t even live here.”
